Our philosophy

We believe that:

  • Children should be valued as individuals and they are made in the image of God.

  • Children need to feel safe and supported all the time.

  • PLAYING and TALKING are the ways in which young children learn about themselves and the world around them.

  • Learning should be beneficial and enjoyable.

  • Children learn through hands-on experiences.

  • Ever child learns differently, thus the teacher should try to use difference techniques in teaching.

  • Children develop their Social, Emotional, Physical and Cognitive skills at differing rates.

  • A child's spiritual development is of highest priority.

  • Children need to develop a sense of responsibility.

  • Children who are encouraged to think Biblically are more likely to act wisely.

  • Children learn from everything that happens to them and do not naturally separate their learning into subjects.

Parents are the first and best educators of children and have a vital part to play in the establishment of their child's learning environment.
